Regional track meet results

Congratulations to our student-athletes who placed at the Region II Track & Field competition. The first- and second-place winners qualify for the state meet on May 2 in Austin.

• Sye Stroman: sixth place in the 110m hurdles
• Marquayvious Richardson, Sye Stroman, Kayden Linwood, Eli Riojas: fourth place in the 4x400 relay
• Aidan Boston: third place in the high jump
• Jayden Riley: tenth place in the long jump
• Marquavion Owens: second place in the triple jump
• Toya Hurd: fifth place in the 100m run and eleventh place in the long jump
• JD Larry: Third place in the 200m run and ninth place in the shot put
• Aurelia Giesler: fifth place in the 1600m run
• Kym Sheppard: second place in the 100m hurdles and ninth place in the triple jump
• Annemarie Hanner, JD Larry, Ma’Kaylin King, Toya Hurd: second place in the 4x100 relay
• Skylar Spencer, Annemarie Hanner, JD Larry, Shamijala Gilliam: third place in the 4x200 relay (wild card qualifiers for state)
• Skylar Spencer, Annemarie Hanner, Shamijala Gilliam, Markavia Garner: fifth place in the 4x400 relay
• Caitlynn Bailey: third place in the high jump
