Atlanta ISD enjoys a tradition of success and excellence.  The district’s educational philosophy stresses academics with a student-centered approach and diversified curriculum offerings.  Students in Atlanta ISD receive a high quality basic education, as well as an individualized educational program to accommodate their needs.

Located in Cass County, 25 miles south of Texarkana, Atlanta ISD owns approximately 250 acres of land with five campuses.  Enrollment remains constant around 1930 students with an overall student/teacher ratio of 13 to 1.  Atlanta ISD has been awarded the Texas UIL Lone Star Cup Award for the best overall athletic and academic programs in the Texas University Interscholastic League’s AAA classification.  At every level, students are successful in UIL academic and athletic competitions as well as TAKS results.
