Welcome to a new generation of teaching and learning! Atlanta ISD has established a reputation for excellence and innovation in education.  This year, we begin a program that will take educational technology to the next level in the District and serve as a model for others.

     For many years we have recognized the value of computers and network access as a motivator for students to develop independence and autonomy in the learning process, along with providing them the opportunity for collaborative learning.


    Every student grades 7th through 12th in AISD has been issued a Mac laptop to provide 24/7 access to technology and powerful learning resources. The technology will be used in such a way that it is seamlessly blended with curriculum and instruction to enhance student engagement and learning.
