Atlanta ISD wants to congratulate all campuses for meeting the state standard for the 2016-2017 school year. All campuses hit the mark in all four areas which are student achievement, student progress, closing performance gaps and postsecondary readiness.
Atlanta High School received five distinction designations in the areas of: academic achievement in ELA/reading, science, social Studies, top 25 percent in student progress, and postsecondary readiness. Atlanta ISD is very pleased with their efforts in measuring up to the state standards.
Atlanta Middle School also received two distinction designations in the areas of academic achievement in mathematics, and having top 25 percent student progress.
Atlanta Elementary School also received two distinction designations in the areas of ELA/reading and postsecondary readiness.
We will use these distinctions and results to help us zone in to needed areas so that we can create success for all students for the upcoming school year.
